1986

Swan River
Gajewski Realty Trust began as our first property in Dennis, MA was acquired on Cape Cod. Swan River was our longest held property for 40 years.
1991

Elm Street Apartments
In November 1991, Gajewski Realty Trust acquired Elm Street Apartments in Southbridge, Massachusetts, expanding our portfolio of local rental housing. The property remained part of our holdings for more than 15 years before it was sold.
1992

Fiske Hill Plaza
In November 1991, we acquired Fiske Hill Plaza in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. The property remained part of our portfolio for more than a decade before being sold in 2004.

Mayflower Apartments

In 1994, Gajewski Realty Trust acquired Mayflower Apartments in Middleborough, Massachusetts, further expanding our residential rental portfolio. The property remained part of our holdings until its sale in 2007.
2005
Savoy Condominiums

In 2004, Savoy Condominiums in Lubbock, Texas, near Texas Tech University stadium was purchased. In later years, we also acquired the adjacent Savoy Plaza commercial property. Together, these properties remained part of our portfolio until they were sold in early 2019.

Laurel Ridge Apartments

Laurel Ridge Apartments, a 55-unit apartment community in Southbridge, Massachusetts, joined our portfolio in 2004. We owned the property for 13 years before its sale in 2017.
2012
Beech Tree Apartments

Beech Tree Apartments, a 66-unit residential community in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, was acquired in 2012, expanding the portfolio to the Berkshire multifamily market. The property was held through 2024.
2014
Orchard Acres Apartments

In 2014, the company acquired Orchard Acres Apartments, a 96-unit residential community located near the University of Connecticut. The acquisition added a well-positioned multifamily property to the portfolio, serving the surrounding UConn-area rental market.
2017
Pleasant View Apartments

In 2017, Gajewski Realty purchased Pleasant View Apartments, a 33-unit residential community in Easthampton, Massachusetts, located at the foothills of Mount Tom. The acquisition expanded our presence in Western Massachusetts, adding a well-situated multifamily property near the Berkshires. The property was successfully held until it was sold in 2024.
2019
Morrisville Plaza

In 2019, the company acquired Morrisville Plaza, expanding its market presence into Northern Vermont. The retail center brought nationally recognized retailers, including Marshalls, to the area and was held until its sale in 2025.

Deer Park Apartments

In 2019, the company acquired Deer Park Apartments in Willington, Connecticut, expanding its presence in the University of Connecticut area. The acquisition added 45 residential units to the portfolio and strengthened our multifamily footprint in the surrounding UConn rental market.

Oceanside Plaza

In 2019, the company expanded its market reach to New Bedford, Massachusetts, with the acquisition of Oceanside Plaza, a commercial retail plaza on the Massachusetts coast. The property further diversified the portfolio and was owned through 2021.
2022
Southbridge Fair

Bringing our roots back home, we acquired Southbridge Fair Plaza in Southbridge, Massachusetts, in 2022. The plaza added a strong roster of commercial tenants to our portfolio—including Big Y, McDonalds, Aubuchon Hardware, Advanced Auto Parts, and Anytime Fitness—before it was sold in 2025.

BJs Wholesale

In 2022, we expanded into Maine with the acquisition of BJs Wholesale in Bangor. The property broadened our portfolio’s reach across New England and added further geographic diversification before it was sold in 2025.
